논문제목 Aggregation-induced fluorescent block copolymer photonic crystal for multi-level sensing and encryption

논문초록 We introduce a novel dual-mode sensing display utilizing aggregation-induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) doped into a block copolymer (BCP) photonic crystal (PC), offering a breakthrough in stimuli-responsive display and high-security encryption technologies. This display exhibits distinct fluorescence (FL), which decreases upon exposure to nitroaromatic gases or changes in temperature. Full-visible structural color (SC) appears with largely quenched FL when the AIEgen-doped BCP PC is swollen in a solvent, allowing independent control of FL and SC of the BCP PC in a deswollen and swollen state, respectively. Since the SC of the AIEgen-doped BCP PC is sensitive to pH, we achieve dual-mode sensing platform over FL and SC, enabling quantitative detection. Capitalizing on this dual-mode capability, we introduce an optical encryption with multi-level security that employs SC, FL, and pH-matched SC to encode quaternary code-type passwords, enhancing data protection significantly.
